Andrew

Andrew. He was the first boy to tell me I was pretty. The first boy to tell me he had a crush on me. The first (and only) boy to write a song about me.

He was like my first boyfriend--only, not. Because we never dated. But I liked him. And Andrew liked me. We grew apart. Lost contact.

Two years ago, I tried to reinstate contact. He never replied to my email.

I learned last night that Andrew passed away. Two years ago.

Something in me is having a very difficult time accepting this. :(
